Thomas Upton

After undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience, Psychology and Medicine at the University of Otago I completed clinical training in diabetes in endocrinology at Christchurch Hospital under the supervision of Dr Penny Hunt and Dr Steve Soule. In 2016 I moved to Bristol to undertake PhD studies in Professor Stafford Lightman's group at the University of Bristol. My research interest is in the measurement of hormone dynamics in particular the use of novel high frequency sampling technologies to measure diurnal, circadian and ultradian rhythms.
